Profile of Andrew Webster

Andrew Webster became Head of School at Wardlaw-Hartridge in July 2005. He grew up in Vermont, earned his Bachelor's degree at Brown University and his Master's degree in United States History at the University of Virginia.

He began his teaching career at St. Stephen's Episcopal School in Austin, TX in 1987. Mr. Webster spent 15 years at the Berkeley Carroll School in Brooklyn, NY, where he served as a history teacher, coach, advisor, Director of Admissions, and Upper School Head.

Mr. Webster lives with his wife and five children (all of whom attend Wardlaw-Hartridge) in Edison, NJ. His school’s mission contains a strong global focus and the student body there is very diverse; approximately 30% of the students come from families with South Asian ancestry.
