PPES has opened a primary school in village Bichola. PPES analyzed that one of the reasons for high dropout rate in PPGVS was due to lack of interest in the parents and children towards education.
Through this programme PPES has been able to motivate the parents and girls for education. It will be able to support in developing a conducive environment for education of a girl child. This will be an entry point for other rural development activities. Parents groups and other support groups developed at the village level will be trained on self governance & monitoring tools.
Impact of this programme has been that PPES have come much closer to the community and the mothers. This will set bases for other community development progarmmes like micro thrifts/ enterprise, health, mobilization of the youth etc. PPES wants to start these initiatives at the community level
Today PPES has more than 1000 students in the School.
